Located in Toronto, Canada, Almer is a century-old jewellery brand with exquisite style, serving European and American upper class society, and supplying products and services to all the big cities of North America. In the early twentieth century, a diamond cutting & processing plant was established in Europe. In order to avoid the Great War in Europe, it moved to North America, but the craftsmanship remained the same.
In 2005, Alex Paylan, a third-generation member of David Seno’s family, set up a factory, Shenfeng Jewellery (Shanghai) Limited, in Shanghai’s Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone. In 2007, the retail brand David Seno was established in China, inheriting the tenets of “Integrity” and “Service.” Senior and experienced Chinese technicians were invited, and offered three years’ training. In 2008, the flagship store was launched in Shanghai, with the aim of offering custom-made jewellery with a highly personal service to Chinese customers.
